THE TEAM

MEET STEVE (Monday and Tuesday)

First of all, it'’s not Steve...it's Professor Granelli. OK, screw that, it's Steve.  Steve Granelli was not so much introduced to the Mark Zito Show as much as it was thrust upon him by having Mark as a student in CRS 360: Rhetoric of Popular Culture.  Steve and Mark have discussed and acknowledged their initial uneasiness toward each other, some would even call a healthy dislike, but realizing the mutually beneficial nature of their relationship has prodded them to move on. Or has it..

A professor at Syracuse University and SUNY Oswego, Steve has been teaching in the area of Communication and Rhetorical Studies for close to a decade. After doing the math you would find that Steve is the most senior (elderly) member of the Mark Zito Show at the age of 30. Steve grew up in Buffalo, NY and attended Syracuse University for both undergraduate and graduate study, earning his Master's Degree in Communication and Rhetorical Studies in 2002 and accepting a teaching position at his alma mater 3 weeks later. He accepted a full time position at SUNY Oswego in 2004, and has taught at both universities simultaneously since then.

A longtime fan of talk radio who admits he listens to upwards of 30 hours a week, Steve began his own radio show and podcasts in 2006, and was asked to join the Mark Zito show in the spring of 2009. You can hear him waxing fantastic about the glory days of college, lamenting his weight gain and hair loss, and doing his best to try and make Mark, Lindsay and whoever else is in the room laugh or cringe, whichever comes first.  Steve has agreed to put the initial differences aside with Mark, which is evident whenever the two of them gang up on Lindsay in a completely unprovoked and overly brutal way. MEET LINDSAY (_)

Lindsay Vogelman is currently a senior at Syracuse University and is majoring in public relations.

She grew up on the mean streets of New Rochelle, New York and was an obvious choice to join the Mark Zito Show in the Spring of 2009 considering Mark’s affinity for blondes.

A big fan of dancing, listening to Bruce Springsteen, and playing the occasional game of Cranium, Lindsay’s favorite pastime is lounging in sweatpants in front of the television watching Grey’s Anatomy and Gossip Girl.

As a new co-host on the show, Lindsay plans on keeping Mark in check and limiting his many sexual outbursts.  If you’re dying to hear more embarrassing Mark stories in detail she’d love the chat. Want to e-mail Linds? CLICK HERE.

MEET COURTANEY (_ )

Courtaney Craig is a senior at Syracuse University and is majoring in Television, Radio, and Film.

A native of Rochester, New York, Craig began her career in Syracuse radio as a celebrity gossip correspondent for The Mark Zito Show in fall 2007.

Now, serving as a permanent co-host for the program, Courtaney is excited to not only continue the gossip, but to be a part of a show where the unexpected is the standard, and a good laugh is always in store.

In her spare time, Courtaney loves to spend time with her friends and family and enjoys frequent extra double non-fat vanilla caramel macchiato lattes. She is also a big fan of the musical “greats” such as Meatloaf, Barry Manilow, Miley Cyrus, and is holding her breath for a Paula Abdul comeback tour. Want to e-mail Courtox? CLICK HERE.
